Zeke is (in his mind, unfortunately so) a mostly an average kid. Son of a once-famous and now struggling producer, Zeke and his father moved to LA from Chicago shortly after the death of his mother, Prudence. As the son of a well-known, wealthy producer, Zeke often feels he doesn't quite match up to what is expected of him. With no interest in joining show business, a tendency to pull in mostly Bs even with all-nighters, and enough coordination to get him cut from three different sports teams, he often finds himself struggling to figure out his niche. At the dismay of his father, Zeke's interests mostly lie in watching television, hanging out with friends, and doing little else.

Zeke, while sure he's gay (something he's kept from his father and would like to continue doing so), has never had a boyfriend. Too scared of his friends' and father's reactions, he has simply kept it from everyone else and never bothered to say anything. A generally private kid, it's hardly unusual for Zeke to keep his romantic life private. He's always been a quiet, polite kid-- unless around his peers, of course. He’s been known to drink and experiment with drugs, though nothing ever really caught his interest. Unfortunately, most of his teachers wish his tendency to be a smartass would fade too.

He's a good kid, if a little lost and at a crossroads in his life. Living in an apartment with his mostly-absent father, struggling to make new friends, all he wants is to fit in and figure out his life.
